I will work to

• Close the readiness gap by investing in early education and parent involvement.
• Create a transparent school budget process in which the Board, Superintendent, parents and taxpayers work together to set goals and allocate funds.
• Foster environmental responsibility by building new schools to LEED standards and teaching the 3 R’s of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle.’
• Encourage parents’ and community involvement by expanding volunteer opportunities and opening school facilities to the community-at-large.
